The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
When the pressures of modern life pile up on Dorothy, she chooses to run away in search of an alternative. But should she use her ticket to get onboard the yellow bus to the Emerald City where the mysterious people of Oz live a care-free life with no risks to take or decisions to make?
When strangely familiar characters join her on her journey, Dorothy is forced to confront her fears and take steps across unknown territory.
A newly-devised and highly imaginative theatre production inspired by the classic tale and created with members of the St David’s community in Exeter.
Westenders
Oakwood Court College, Dawlish
A group of young adults with learning difficulties that gathers together once a week to develop their drama skill and have fun, whilst doing so they develop their communication skills.
The group devised their own play about a haunted B&B that over a hectic weekend had many different and interesting visitors. The play proved that you are never too old to fall in love and get married.
Everyone involved really enjoyed it. We are currently working on a new production and the jungle book which will be shown in a theatre in Dawlish.
Youth Homelessness Prevention Show
The EFT Youth Homelessness Prevention Schools Tour was a partnership project with the Meaningful Occupation Project (MOP). We toured an original devised production and workshop around 9 venues, reaching more than 500 young people, with a cast of homeless, ex-homeless and vulnerably housed actors.
