"The Western Lands"

(1992 - with Highbridge House CRU and Great Torrington school)

was a complex piece of dance and physical theatre exploring themes of landscape and exploitation, and used over 300 projected images throughout the show.

Quote:
”..a hugely ambitious piece …vulnerable, courageous, dangerous…”
Public Projects Co-ordinator, Dartington College of Arts

“Once again your company has managed to treat the eye and the senses to a rich feast of visual images and emotional encounter, whilst maintaining the highest standards of artistic production, as well as offering another example of truly integrated theatre.”
Director, Torrington & District Play Council

“I found the piece the most extraordinary synthesis of media, and possibly the most imaginative interpretation of a literary work that I have ever come across…many of the images will be etched into my memory for many years to come… If we could do such projects, we would be proud.”
Education Officer, Cheltenham Literary Festival
