Fredskorpset preparatory courses
Fredskorpset is a norwegian organisation that promotes international development through professional exchange programmes in which “south” participants from south america, africa & south east asia do an extended “job swap” with a norwegian from a partner organisation. Drawn from professions as diverse as the media, scientific research, the arts & the medical profession, the south participants having just arrived in norway & their norwegian partners, just about to leave, are brought together for a three week preparatory course. Wolf + water deliver the mental health section of this course using drama & active techniques to help participants to explore their reactions to some of the challenges that they might be facing – feelings of alienation, isolation & cultural differences.
