Human Rights as a Basis for Conflict Management, Reconciliation & Community Development
A course which uses drama to take participants through the process of understanding what basic human needs are & how these are then translated into human rights. Using role play participants then work to develop realistic situations & scenarios on putting human rights into practice & looking at some of the dilemmas therein.
Quote:
“I was amazed at how the session really brought the group together - the facilitators really made the group feel at ease. The session allowed the group to look at human rights in an imaginative & interactive way & it has really enthused them about the subject. The creative approach affirmed the young peoples existing understanding of the concept of rights & encouraged them to explore further”
