Since establishing itself independently in 1991 after three years as the Beaford Centre’s “Common Sense Project”, Wolf + Water Arts Company have brought their creative & therapeutic approaches to a wide variety of groups locally, nationally & internationally. These groups have included:

  1. people with learning difficulties
  2. people with mental health issues
  3. people in conflict situations
  4. offenders
  5. communities
  6. young people at risk
  7. life threatening illnesses, grief and bereavement
  8. staff groups working with all the above

Wolf + Water also:

  1. produce original topical performances for conferences & for tour
  2. provide a wide range of training courses for those wishing to use drama & arts techniques in special needs situations.

Work has taken the Company throughout the UK, Eire, Scandinavia, the Middle East & the Balkans.

With this huge amount of experience & a wide range of arts group work skills to draw upon, including drama & theatre, music, visual arts & film & video, Wolf + Water are flexible enough to work with the abilities of a wide range of client groups, either purely creatively, or as part of issue based behaviour modification programmes, in an accessible, enjoyable & challenging way.

In all aspects of work, whether expressive or therapeutic, Wolf + Water enjoy working with other peoples creativity - their ability to adapt & change & be inspired. The process of work aims to discover peoples positive abilities & potential for development as opposed to perceiving them through their mental, physical or social disabilities.

This website will give you a flavour of the wide work that Wolf + Water Arts Company undertake. While some sections detail set programmes of work & details of past programmes, it is important to remember that Wolf + Water tend to design projects specifically for the needs of each individual group, through liaison with the staff & participants of that group.
