Donations to Wolf and Water Arts Company / Many Directions in memory of Peter Harris

Peter Harris Director of Wolf and Water Arts, sadly passed away on Saturday 6th August. He will be sorely missed by everyone who worked with him over many years and leaves a memorable legacy. Before being diagnosed with cancer, Peter was working with Many Directions to create a production of Don Quixote. Wolf and Water Arts Company would like to complete this production in his memory,  so instead of flowers we would like to ask for donations towards this project.

With many thanks,
Wolf and Water Arts Company

About Many Directions:
Many Directions grew out of regular weekly drama and arts workshops run by local charity Wolf + Water Arts Company in 1989. No matter what the level of ability or experience of our members, we celebrate each individuals’ talent, creativity and energy through the arts – be that performing a complex dance or banging a triangle, with equal dignity. At the same time, it’s really important that our work is of quality – that we are showing people with learning difficulties to the best of their abilities – both in artistic content and in the projects and themes we tackle. Only in that way can our work seriously raise awareness not only about the challenges our members face, but their amazing talents and abilities.

Peter Harris says:
Poor old Don Quixote! He has read far too many books on chivalry & has convinced himself, that with a colander for a helmet & an umbrella for a sword, he’s a real life knight in shining armour – fighting monsters, righting wrongs & saving damsels…. but unfortunately he isn’t! He mistakes windmills for giants, inn for castles & flocks of sheep for armies – leaving his long suffering servant Sancho Panza to pick up the pieces…
